I ate at El Conejito Restaurant on 24331 Muirlands Blvd. Unit 1 in Lake Forest.
The cashier was super nice and friendly.
Juan the manager allowed me to take the photos.
I ordered the #C Combination Dinner:
El Tamal and a Cheese Enchilada with beans & rice.
The tamal; chicken chucks with red sauce and it was very flavorful.
Enchilada; cheese inside all covered with red sauce and yellow cheese, it had a very good taste.
I ordered a diet soda to balance my meal.
For dessert; A Apple empanada; cooked apple with a sweet sauce inside, covered with cinnamon and powdered sugar.
It was nice & crispy and delicious!
I left to take the outside photos.
I drove off to rite my review.

Front counter guy was not much help with ordering and the food all was on Pre made processed hard shell taco not real Mexican tortillas . The food had cheddar cheese not authentic mexican . Beans from a can .
Meat was just ok and I felt disgusting after eating it . So sad I wished this place was good because I work nearby and wanted to be able to eat regularly here .
I dropped my cell phone and it fell under the table . The floors were so filthy , i would never eat here again.
No pride in their restaurant from the salsa bar from a can to the filth .
Sad .

Ordered nachos. Simple right? Apparently not. I ordered a nachos. Pompous cashier who acted bothered when I asked if guacamole came on it? It was obvious I was new and wasn't sure what was on it. There's no description or photos on menu. He informed no guac... But gave no further description of the nachos. I was afraid to ask any more questions. I paid extra to have guacamole put on. What he delivered was I thought a joke. See photo. It was a small styrofoam plate of chips with sparse shredded cheese, only 1/2 microwaved. Nothing else. Im not kidding. No beans. NO SALSA. No rice. No sour cream. Nothing. Just bare chips with bare sprinkling of half melted cheese. Over $5! Lol. Joke was on me. The guacamole I paid extra for? Just a pipe dream, they forgot to add it. When he set it on the table I was a little confused... thought it might have been a free appetizer and when I realized it wasn't I was stunned. I asked why nothing was on it. He told me that if I wanted anything on it I would have had to order the Supreme Nachos... And walked away, slithering next door to flirt w/the young employee working at the water dispensary. Me added an extra star for the wee refund the lad gave me. Enter at your own expense.

Terrible. I went to pick up food during lunch break from work and ordered the asada sopes plate. The sope was just slightly thicker than a taco tortilla so it was like I just ordered a taco that cost a little more. The asada meat was very cheap cut of meat. It was very chewy and felt like they were just serving pieces of the meat cartilages. Maybe the empty establishment should've been a sign that the place was no good. I would stay away from here if possible.
